David has been practicing landscape architecture since 2003. He has worked on a wide variety of projects across North America including urban plazas, parks, streetscapes, residential, education, healthcare and environmental remediation. David’s primary focus and interest in landscape architecture has been in construction detailing and construction administration, but he has led and been involved in projects through all phases of development. David believes that successful projects result from great teamwork and he enjoys working collaboratively with his colleagues and other disciplines to realize a project’s design vision.

David is a lifelong Washington resident and tries to spend as much time as he can in the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.

David provides critical support to many projects at the workshop, with recent projects including Dune Peninsula Park and the Wilson Way Trail and Bridge at Point Defiance on Tacoma's waterfront.
