The design for this new, 5-story mixed-use building in Greenwood, includes a retail courtyard that opens to the public during the day and supports a range of commercial types from micro-retail spaces to an interactive learning center with access to an adjacent outdoor lawn. Open circulation at the residences above looks down into the retail courtyard all the way from the shared roof above, enlivening the space and providing natural ventilation to the building. The design for the shared roof deck includes play space, generous planters, gathering areas, and a greenhouse for food production.
