Site Workshop is developing a new master plan for the Highline-Seatac Botanical Garden to plan for future growth. Through community outreach, the design team developed a range of expanded program opportunities that can be implemented piece by piece as funding allows. Priorities included incorporating more nature play opportunities and expanding the community gardens to increase usage and create more opportunities for inter-generational interaction. The team also identified opportunities to generate income for the gardens through expanding rental space for events.
