The Woodland Park Zoo West Entrance replaced the old north and west entrances, allowing more guests to enter quickly, while maintaining an intimate scale. Visitors are welcomed by an open plaza with ample seating and improved connections to parking, transit, and bicycle facilities. A stormwater filtration system is integrated into the plaza, treating 975,000 gallons of runoff each year.
