Alison’s passion as a landscape and urban designer is to create public spaces that integrate the intricacies of human experience, place and natural functions. She relishes the challenge of site design and likes collaborating on multidisciplinary teams, where she enjoys listening and contributing to the multiple perspectives needed to create thoughtful designs. Alison brings strong design skills and an intuitive hands-on working style to Site Workshop.

Alison’s eight years of professional practice have enabled her to work on a wide variety of landscape architectural projects types and scales, ranging from master planning and site design for large public projects, to rooftop gardens and smaller residential projects. Her range of skills and experience inform all phases of project development including concept design, detail development, construction drawings and administration.  This versatility enables her to provide project management, site design, graphic production, construction documentation and detailing for Site Workshop. She received her MLA from the University of Washington.

Outside of the office Alison volunteers at her daughter's school, and treasures the simplicity of spending time with family and friends. Originally from the United Kingdom, she now feels a strong connection to the Northwest and takes every opportunity to explore the outdoors in all kinds of weather.
