Allison is motivated to create vibrant outdoor community spaces. She has worked on a variety of projects in the public realm including community parks, sports fields, dog parks, play environments, transit stations, right-of-way improvements, and adaptive streets. Her first career in outdoor education means she always has an eye open for opportunities to facilitate a sense of playfulness, curiosity, and appreciation for the natural world.

 

After receiving her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington, Allison briefly worked in the Bay Area before coming back to the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Her design sense and communication style is informed by a background in literature, art history, and experiences living in multiple cities around the world.

 

On sunny days, you can find Allison rock climbing, skiing, hiking, or biking. However, on Seattle’s famous grey low-light days, you’ll find her curled up indoors with a graphic novel.
