Site Workshop developed design guidelines for Makala Boulevard and Kuakini Highway on the Big Island of Hawaii. The study proposed a high quality public realm for multi-modal transportation, incorporating bicycle and pedestrian facilities into the plan and setting an overall streetscape character to promote a walkable, connective development pattern.
