Luke is a landscape architect and ISA certified arborist with experience collaborating on large multidisciplinary projects that integrate natural systems into the built environment. He practices a systems-thinking approach to understanding landscape complexities and believes landscape architects are uniquely positioned to provide resilient solutions to many challenges facing us in the Anthropocene.
A life-long resident of the Pacific Northwest now residing in Tacoma, Luke holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from WSU, with minors in horticulture and construction management.
When not in the workshop, Luke serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Tacoma Tree Foundation and on the Landscape Architecture Professional Advisory Board for the WSU School of Design and Construction. In his free time, Luke enjoys urban hikes, climbing, fermenting foods, and restoring his 1922 Craftsman home.
